Shaping Young Hedges
A young hedge needs light, frequent trims, not one big cut a year. Taking a little off the top and sides makes the plant branch out lower down, so you get a dense hedge instead of bare stems with leaves on top.
We shape the sides with a slight taper, wider at the bottom, so the whole hedge gets sun. Two or three visits a year is usually enough. Our hedge trimming
